So, we're all friends now, right? This podcast is more like a goofy vessel to share our personalities with you than something where you expect thoughtful musical criticism or even basic coherent thought, right? Because boy, we recorded this at about 2 in the morning today and we spent most of it mispronouncing words (sometimes intentionally), asking what if John Mayer had a podcast, and arguing about LMFAO (we are all college graduates). We hope you like this one, and if you don't, please remember: this isn't actually our job!

Man, with how late Justice is at work on this one, we should change our name to Night Court! In this episode of Night Court, we get carried away talking about Mt. Eddy's debut album, made by Jakob Danger Armstrong (the terrible son of OR brother to Green Day, depending) and his buddies! Rachel forgets how to speak and sing, Zane explains human anatomy (FINALLY), and regular Jacob really gives it to ol' Christgau. Sorry!

Oh and/or boy, y'all, this episode is being edited and posted by Justice so you KNOW it has that fresh, funky flavor you craaaave. Now, that thing with fresh, funky flavor is that it usually just comes across as "Jacob's mic was screwed up at the end of the episode and someone edited this while they were late for work", so you might think it's bad, but really.... just dat fresh-funk. We talked about Smash Mouth, as fronted by Steve Harvey, say the names of people and places a lot, and Justice (hey, that's me!) forgets how to make jokes but DOES remember how to click a pen the whole damn time.

Reczzzz:

Justice: Human Host- The Halloween Tree

Also Justice: Fountains of Wayne- Utopia Parkway

Zane: Lemon Demon- Spirit Phone

Jacob: PAWS- Cokefloat!

We take a good old fashioned family road trip down to the filthy streets of Human Hair Wig City, USA (New York) for what we can all agree is an experience of mixed quality. In this episode we definitively rate two papaya-based franchises, operate a motor vehicle while recording, and get to the bottom of who is and isn't Jacob's wife. Enjoy!

In this episode we finally address what crustaceans Jacob would make respectful love to, discuss plants and energy, and uncover the tragic secret of why 311 had to make this album. By the way, this is about a NEW 311 album. It's got their classic songs you love so much like Amber and Down but it's also got other entirely new songs, too. Hope you enjoy it!

In this episode we completely break format because you get it by now right?, we discover a mystical nether-realm of equal parts pony filth and robot whimsy, and we finally give Rachel a speaking role. Hope you enjoy!

In this episode we don't even say cum once (still far from SFW), Jacob enters a Steve Albini-related fugue state, Zane inadvertently creates the most grotesque pop culture love child, and Justice seems to really hate Snow Falling on Cedars. Also THIS ISSSSSS an album that's not good.

Adam Schlesinger - Music & Lyrics OST

Terror Pigeon - Live it Up Before You Die it Up!

The Geraldine Fibbers - Lost Somewhere Between the Earth and My Home

In this episode we are all finally rid of whatever mental capacity we once possessed, we revisit the anatomy of the beloved spongy man for children, and one of us briefly succumbs to their mortality. While this episode discusses a work of art made for children, you should definitely never play this for any child, as you will both be promptly shipped to prison. Enjoy!

Albums recommended in this episode:

Nose Bleed Island - True Story

Dan Friel - Total Folklore

Leema Mountain - BrotherSister

In this episode, Justice repeatedly leaves Zane to make a fool of himself with word games, Jacob coins a fun term for the exploitation of a Bahamian nation, and we apparently discuss an album by Ja Rule we almost forgot.

Recommended in this episode:

Blueprint - Adventures in Counter-Culture

Exuma - Exuma

Foxygen - ...And Star Power

In this episode we all audibly die, pitch on-spec programming featuring nobody's favorite cartoon abomination Luigi the Cockroach, and really get to the bottom of if we are wearing pants or not. Also Deep Purple made an album like a week ago.
