The Oatlands Heritage & Bullock Festival is a much-loved celebration of Tasmania’s rural past, returning on the 9th and 10th of August 2025 for another weekend of history, heritage, and hands-on fun. Held in the heart of Oatlands, this free, family-friendly event brings the town to life with bullock teams, steam engines, artisan markets, heritage displays, live demonstrations, and plenty of good old-fashioned country spirit.

From colonial art exhibitions and wool handling competitions to stonemasonry, clay play and traditional bread baking, the festival blends old-world charm with interactive experiences.
