I'm bias, I got my start on the business side of things as a 15 year old setting up at a show, Shows will always hold a special place in my heart, to me they will always be a integral part of the hobby, the social interactions(has the pandemic altered that permanently), the bartering, the comraderie between dealers & dealers and consumers, having that actual card you are considering purchasing in your hand, What does the future hold for the card show?

Grading is an acquired taste, believe me I reluctantly got on the bus but it's a HUGE part of the current hobby landscape, in this episode I tell you how & why I changed my mind, approaches, the current state of affairs & how that $40-$60 can be so undervalued staying in that form, Yes grading is not for everyone but it's a huge selling resource if that is an angle you pursue.

The Hobby is fun & awesome, but your time is valuable too. I've sold in the hobby for 30+ years & I've always viewed "time" as a commodity, now in content creation I really know how valuable time is, We discuss that angle & a few ways I've done a better job at managing it to enjoy things outside of the hobby as well.

The Hobby is booming at what may be an all-time high level the likes of what we've never seen before...& during a pandemic, As hobbyists we should be at least ecstatic about that, but lately I've noticed a trend of #hobbysnobby, people labeling new people of the hobby, voicing general disdain, finger pointing, labeling people & generally being very unwelcoming...Not all but why are we doing this during high points of the hobby & if that's the case, what will we resort to at the low points?  When did the hobby get some segmented & segregated?

We love the hobby & live in the moment as we should, but in the quiet moments do you have a plan for your collection/inventory?
