Some current recent events inspired a discussion about a problem in society that has at times leaked over into RPG communities. Today we discuss fascism and some of the elements that overlap into the community.

We continue our previous talk about Hirelings and cover an array of editions and even the Science Fiction RPG Mothership. Looking at the Basic D&D Rules Cyclopedia, D&D 5E, Pathfinder, OSRIC and AD&D we look a bit at how the concept of hirelings differed from game to game.

It is Halloween today, so we figured we would talk about horror Role-Playing games and have a fun time just talking about the holiday, our excitement for it, and the games we are playing for the Holiday. Happy Halloween all!

My very special guest Pearl joins us today to talk about getting into Table Top Role-Playing games for the first time. Random Monsters and Random encounter tables are a big part of Fantasy Role-Playing, especially in the OSR and Old School Gaming. We talk about some of our missteps with them running a game and what we found helpful and works for our Role-Playing Games.
