Writer and hockey historian Jonathon Jackson joins us to talk about the updated edition of his book The Making of Slap Shot: Behind the Scenes of the Greatest Hockey Movie Ever Made. Who would you cast in a remake of the classic movie? Jonathon has an interesting idea! We also establish why Clarence "Hap" Day should be a bigger deal among Toronto Maple Leafs fans, as well as other topics!

First, we interview Andy Blackburn, who was a hometown forward on the 1991 Provincial championship team and is the father of current Barons defenseman Hudson Blackburn. After a couple of "From the Clarkives" news clips, we then welcome Canadian Country Music Star Jamie Warren, who recalls memories of playing for his hometown Hanover Barons as a 14-year-old!

One-time QMJHL scoring ace and ECHL Hall-of-Famer Allan Sirois joins us by phone from South Carolina to discuss his junior and pro career as well as coaching the University of South Carolina Gamecocks hockey program. We have a "From the Clarkives", then a story about some Louie DeBrusk & Craig Fisher hockey cards being accidentally gifted to a stranger in Neustadt, Ontario.

Durham Thundercat defenseman Brandon Devlin talks to us about his experiences in more than 300 Ontario Hockey League games as well as pro hockey and Canadian University action with the Ryerson Rams. We also have some News and Notes touching on a recent junior playoff game that went into 5 overtimes!

In response to Norway's incredible performance at the 2026 Winter Olympic games we put together a show including Norwegian hockey trivia and facts among our Midwestern Ontario to NHL news and notes.
