And as of just last weekend, the mens champion of the Highland Fling wavepool competition at Lost Shore- which if you haven't seen some of the surfing then you probably should, it was insane

he's also an:

• ISA-qualified coach. 
• the lead coach at Lost Shore,
• and a man who has earned considerable respect surfing heavy reef breaks alongside Nathan Florence — which, if you have seen Nathan Florence's slab tour, tells you a lot.

Craig grew up in Thurso — one of the most iconic surf spots in the world — and that background runs through everything he does as a coach. He was part of the team that just took Scotland to their best-ever Euro Surf finish, and he's now bringing all of that knowledge to surfers through Hodi.tv, coaching at wavepool camps and via online coaching.

Genuinely one of the nicest and humble surfers you could meet — Craig's got a real philosophy around performance and self-awareness that goes well beyond technique.

Located in a valley, next to the town of Sion and surrounded by many famous ski resorts, Alaia Bay is Europe's #1 Wave Pool

In this episode, we speak with Vincent Van Laethem, CEO of Alaia Bay and the Alaia Businesses that the group operate.
