This message will seek to challenge those who hear to consider the source of their joy. John 16 and 1 Thessalonians 3 will be the focus of this lesson.

This message will look at baptism as part of salvation and where we get our doctrine of baptism. Romans 6 and 1 Peter 3 are scriptures we will look at, as well as excerpts from the book of Acts.

This message is about how our battle with sin and human nature is ongoing. I will use Galatians 5:16-26; Mark 14:32-42; and 1 Corinthians 10:12-13 to look at how the Holy Spirit works on our behalf as we wage this war.

This message will look at how we should be slow to draw a conclusion about a situation or about someone else’s life. I plan to use portions of Proverbs, James, and possibly Luke to show what God’s word teaches us.

Homecoming 2023

I will use portions of Hosea 6, Matthew 9, and Matthew 12 to illustrate how we need to put mercy into practice when dealing with others, just as we seek mercy from our Heavenly Father.

This message will seek to give us insight into what unity in the body might look like. Portions of John 17 and Colossians 3 will be used, as well as an example about the apostles which teaches us about how differing viewpoints can work toward a common good.
