My name is Austin Walker. Join me in partnering with The Headstrong Project.
I will be 18 in October of this year and will attempt to surpass the current Guinness World Record for pull-ups in 24 hours.
I am a senior in high school and want to achieve this before I graduate. I love physical fitness and pull-ups are my exercise of choice.
In January of 2023, I dedicated myself to reaching defined pull-up goals, which led to my desire to attempt a world record for the highest number of pull-ups in a 24-hour period. In my training, I learned that persistence and discipline toward goals lead to great accomplishments.
My main reason for attempting a World Record is to prove to myself and others that with hard work and dedication, we can accomplish great things and overcome any limitations we put on ourselves.
Growing up in a military family, I grew a strong appreciation of our service men and women and the many sacrifices they and their families make for our country. This made choosing a non-profit organization that supports our veterans and their mental health an easy choice for my World Record fundraiser. The Headstrong Project provides much-needed mental health programs to our veterans, service members, and their families.
Please join me in raising awareness and funding for The Headstrong Project so they may continue to support our veterans through all their wonderful mental health programs.
