After a long delay, our last episode (for now) is here, sadly. It's been a fun project looking back at all these old movies (good and bad), but now it's time for us to move on to bigger and better things. Thank you all for the support and love. Be kind.
David and Matthew are back and their on their own as they explore a strange abandoned farmhouse in the Lone Star State. Join our two daring hosts as they delve deep into one of the strangest horror franchises and make a few detours along the way.
The latest episode of Hold Up! is finally here after David was dumb and forgot to upload it on time. Join David Denis, Matthew Cleary and their friend and horror movie expert, Amy, as they look at the Scream franchise. For 25 years Ghostface has been scaring our pants off and now David, Matthew and Amy are on the case to uncover the secret identity of this long-running franchise and determine once and for all if it does, in fact, hold up.
After a long journey down the rabbit hole Hold Up! is finally back. We've taken the red pill and are ready to discuss everyone's favourite cyberpunk/kung fu/philosophy class 101 movie series, The Matrix! Hosts David "Gnosis" Denis and Matthew "The Lawyer" Cleary are joined once again by special guest Mike "The Editor" Ashkewe to talk about the cultural impact these films have had and to answer that most elusive of life's questions... does this $#!@ hold up?

After a brief hiatus, Hold Up! is back, baby! We're not ready for the afterlife just yet. This week we discuss the 1980's comedy classics Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II, along with the rest of the Ghostbusters multi-media franchise. As we venture into the world of spooks, spectres and spirits we are joined by friend of the show and Ghostbusters expert, Mike "The Birdman" Ashkewe. Together, David, Matthew and Mike must strap on their proton packs and slime-throwers to kick some ghost ass and see if these movies really do hold up.

What's this? What's this? A new Hold Up! episode? Why yes, it is. Since we're caught in the weird zone between Halloween and Christmas, David and Matthew decided to look back at a movie that captures the best of both worlds: Disney's Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas and another Henry Selick (not Tim Burton) modern-day classic, Coraline. Will these two stop-motion fantasies deserve the respect they are so often lauded or should they be abandoned to the lair of the Oogie Boogie man/ banished to the realm of the Other Mother? Listen now to find out.

Tis the season to be spooky and David, Matthew and their friend Amy are all back once again to talk about one of horror's longest-running and most-profitable franchises, the tale of Michael Myers! Yeah, baby! Git outta my swamp! Oh wait, that's a different Mike Myers.

WAZZUP! It's spooky season and, after a short hiatus, David and Matthew are back and they're joined by newcomer and horror movie expert Amy to take a stab at all five Scary Movie movies. They'll take a look at the franchise's super high highs (puff cough cough) and extremely low lows (cough all of Scary Movie V cough) and determine if these not-so-scary movies are still funny or if they belong in the dirtpile of movies that was the early 00s.
