This week was a massive week in football. We saw the contenders start to rise and the pretenders start to fall. The Showdown and the Western Derby were massive blow outs while the Dogs upset the Cats and GWS fall to the impressive Lions. This week throws up some interesting fixtures with the Western Derby at Optus Stadium and the Showdown at Adelaide Oval. There aren't many clear favorites this week with a number of game of the week contenders.
