Those who have made a major transformation with their bodies know that it entails more than changing your physical appearance, it includes shifting your mindset. Michele Nelson, who is a Health Life Specialist in Central Florida is a perfect example of someone who started with the inner work first.  Michele experienced many difficult circumstances in life that influenced her desire to seek out food as a coping mechanism which in turn led to her being overweight and unhappy. It was through her faith, self-discovery, and love of herself that open the door to make healthy choices and take control of her life. 

To date, Michele has lost 250 lbs. And it doesn't stop there! She currently gearing up for a 12 miles swim around Key West along with many other athletic pursuits she preparing for this year. Because Michele knows exactly what it's like to struggle with weight issues but more so an unhealthy mindset, she wants to help other people who are in the shoes she once wore. Her personal goal is to change 1 Million lives by changing their health, faith in God, and finding their inner Beauty.

He is a spiritual life coach, a moderator for Eckhart Tolles Facebook page and he also created a Facebook group called “A path to enlightenment” where he creates online courses and works one on one with people to help them get through this journey we call life.  

Listen while we discuss spirituality far and wide. We talk about pain bodies, Ego, and Acceptance. All things that have to do with coming to acceptance with what is in your life. Happy New Year, friends! 

I know I've been on hiatus for some time but I'm back in action with my first podcast episode of the year and who better to kick things off than with my good friend CJ Chaney. CJ is a senior at the University of Central Florida where he is majoring in real estate, a field he plans to develop a business within upon graduation.  What makes conversations with CJ so gripping is that he has many different interests that somehow he manages to tie together. You'll find out what I'm talking about as you listen to today's episode where we literally go over a smorgasbord of interesting and informative topics stemming from yoga, intermittent fasting, sports, and general health and wellness. October and November are important months for raising awareness on women's health issues and I could not have thought of a better person to invite on the show in commemoration of this cause than my good friend Amy Klein Richards.

Amy opens up about her battle with both breast cancer and Grave's disease and how through a combination of using modern medicine and living a holistic lifestyle she was able to bring herself back to optimal health. There were many challenges, revelations, and questioning of the status quo that got Amy to where she is today and she lays it all out on the table for us to hear!
