Description: Marika Alvarado is an indigenous woman who comes from Texas and as a child belonged to a family who were migrant farm workers. Matthew Fox will speak to us about the Christmas stories around the birth of Jesus and how his arrival brought out political enemies, but how it is also about what he represented, hope to the many who wanted change in the world from politicians to rich  oppressors.  Dr. JacobTeitelbaum is an internist, who now retired and as a young man he was healed of Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia by holistic practitioners, which convinced him to pursue a medical career as a holistic doctor after medical school was completed. In this interview he states the importance of one remedy is not for all. You have to test yourself at home to get to the bottom of why you can't sleep. Some people don't have enough protein in their system and may need to eat a hard boiled egg before retiring, others are suffering from immune system problems, others don't know how to calm their anxiety, some have too much light and electrical equipment in their bedroom even if it's just a blue night light, it will trigger your brain to wake up and stay awake; and then there are some who can only get four hours of sleep, no more, He has recommendations for these and other situations so we can learn to overcome the problem and how to view it; getting to sleep and staying asleep. He works with specific supplements which he himself takes, because he feels at the age of 73 he travels and lectures, so he still needs his 9 hours of sleep. This amount of hours is not true for everyone but he points out how some people feel guilty if they need more than 6 hours of sleep. Eight to nine hours is the recommended amount to stay healthy and help the body detox, and reverse problems like obesity which is a primary concern in the US today. If you don't resolve this problem and come to understand how they operate within your own body, things like losing weight might not work anyway because you will gain the weight right back, he points out.

 Beverly Jensen is hypersensitive to EMF's and does have physical reactions due to long and close exposure to routers over a long period of time. Dr. Tom Cowan went into the medical profession with an understanding that he would question everything that made common sense, and examining who many medical truths could stand up to how examples of good health stood up to these explanations. He was greatly influenced by the work of Weston Price who was a famous dentist in the 1930's who arrived at the conclusion that our dental health affects the rest of our body's health, one is not disconnected from the other. He also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Swaziland, Africa, where he encountered the work of Weston A. Price and Rudolf Steiner, two of the greatest influences on his career. Dr Cowan is trained & experienced in Anthroposophic medicine which is part of the Rudolf Steiner organization. He is also one of the founding board members and served as Vice Pres. of the Weston A. Price Foundation. He is the author of several best-selling books such as How (and Why) to Eat More Vegetables which describes why eating small amounts of a wide variety of vegetables is key to optimal health or "Human Heart, Cosmic Heart: A Doctor's Quest to Understand, Treat, & Prevent Cardiovascular Disease” and "Cancer & the New Biology of Water," and "Vaccines, Autoimmunity, and the Changing Nature of Childhood Illness" to name a few. From 1985 until 2019, Dr. Cowan had a general-medical practice since 1985 but in 2019 retired from active practice. He continues his pioneering work in alternative medicine thru his four family businesses, which includes : Dr. Cowan’s Garden (drcowansgarden.com) and Human Heart, Cosmic Heart (humanheartcosmicheart.com). He also trains new practitioners.
