Have you ever struggled with discontentment or envy when you see others prospering or when you see the things that others have? Maybe as a believer, you struggle with this as you observe unbeliever’s lives, and how they seem to have no worries and no struggles. So, what do we do when we struggle with these doubts? David had the same struggles in Psalm 73. He was right there wrestling with those very same issues.

Happiness is not a quick fix. Happiness does not consist in stuff. Happiness is not another Target run or retail therapy. True happiness is not instantaneous and cannot be bought. True happiness is a slow release kind of happiness. Happiness is finding strength outside of ourselves. Happiness is depending on someone greater and stronger. Happiness is seeing our happy God is the ultimate source of happiness.
