Jason Joel Desrouleaux is an American singer, songwriter, and dancer. Born in Miramar, Florida, Derulo began singing at a young age. He was very engrained in the arts– he attended performing arts school throughout Florida and began writing music when he was eight. As a teen, his writing skills began gaining attention: he would then go on to produce and write records for several artists on Cash Money Records, before singing to minor label Beluga Heights. While his music is generally pop, he incorporates R&B and hip-hop influences. Derulo has sold over 30 million singles since the beginning of his solo career in 2009. Jason’s debut single “Whatcha Say” sold over five million digital downloads, went triple Platinum, and went number one in multiple countries. Derulo’s latest EP, Side 1 was released November 8, 2019, which is the first half of the upcoming 2Sides project, set to release January 2020.

Hey Violet is on this weeks episode of Hollywire's BEHIND THE FAME! American rock-pop band ‘Hey Violet’ is a Los Angeles based group that originated in 2008. Previously known as ‘Cherri Bomb’ was an all-female group but by 2015 had changed their name and their sound. Lead vocalist and bass are Rena Lovelis, Nia Lovelis rocks the drums, percussion, piano, keyboards, synthesizers, and backing vocals and Casey Moreta as the lead and rhythm guitar, and backing vocals. These three together make music through 5 seconds of Summer’s label ‘Hi or Hey’ associated with Capitol records. The song ‘Guys My Age’ released in 2016 put this group on the map and an addition to the Jingle Ball lineup. In October of 2019, they released a new single ‘Clean’ and a homemade music video that shows their creativity and commitment to their work.

In 2011, she left Miami to chase her acting career full-time in Los Angeles. Once in Los Angeles and determined to build her acting reel, Amanda began creating her own content on YouTube and Vine. In her pursuit to create her own work, she taught herself how to write, film, edit, produce, direct and star in her own videos. In doing so, she started building her social media following and now has more than 35 million followers across YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. She has earned herself the spot as one of the top five most-viewed Instagram story accounts in the world. 

Amanda is an unstoppable force. Not only is she an actress, but she has gone on to direct, produce, model, become a fitness guru, and philanthropist. Today, she a United Nations Environment and Wildlife Ambassador. This boss babe has so much more ahead. She’s definitely a force to be reckoned with.

JP Saxe is on this episode of BEHIND THE FAME with Jana Rosenberg and Tony Moras. We talk to JP about his hit songs with two powerhouse female artists in the music industry - Julia Michaels and Charlotte Lawrence. He tells us how these collaborations happened and how the songs came together. JP is an incredible songwriter, musician and vocalist. He's been writing songs for as long as he can remember. Saxe grew up in a creative family as the grandson of Grammy award-winning cellist Janos Starker. He initially studied the cello as a teenager, but later switched to the piano and guitar after discovering jazz and R&B. By the time he was in his twenties, he was posting his songs online and started performing weekly in Toronto. He caught the attention of producers in California, who invited him to record some of his songs, which led him to relocating to Los Angeles.

Her debut single “This Country is Bad Ass” was released in April of 2013 along with three more singles in the same year. In 2018 Pieterse has married her long-term boyfriend Hudson Sheaffer at Castle Leslie in Ireland. In 2019 she had recently made a cookbook, Sasha in Good Taste: Recipes for Bites, Feasts, Sips & Celebrations that covers every step from party planning to hosting to cooking. Pieterse is really hoping this new chapter of her life continues to flourish within the next few years.

He has also gone on to play Miles in the Brat YouTube channel series Chicken Girls. 

He started out 2019 on a great foot having collaborated with South Korean male group, NCT Dream, on the song “Don't Need Your Love”. The song is now one of the groups highest viewed tracks, with more than 13 million views on YouTube. HRVY had learned the entire choreography done for the video which garnered much praise from NCT fans and recognition in the KPOP community. He now has a new single “Younger” released with DJ Jonas Blue. This song has already seen much popularity and praise in its first week with over three million views on YouTube. Much more is expected to come from this young star.
