About Reverend Canon Dr. Jason Bray:-
Jason is a priest in the Anglican Church in Wales. He comes from the South Wales Valleys, but now finds himself in North Wales as Vicar of St Giles' Church in Wrexham where he has been featured in 'Welcome to Wrexham' the soccer documentary with Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. Before ordination in 1997, he studied theology in Durham and Cambridge, and then lectured in Biblical Studies whilst being a parish priest. For the last twenty years, he has also been a deliverance minister, dealing with the paranormal, but just as often with people who are mentally ill, and in 2020 published a book about his experiences entitled, 'Deliverance: Everyday investigations into poltergeists, ghosts and other supernatural phenomena by an Anglican priest'. In April 2024, it was announced that he will be leaving Wrexham in August to be Dean of Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff.
