We continue our "Unravelled" series with the familiar story of Peter's walking on water. This morning, I am borrowing Nadia Bolz Weber's sermon, "Jesus Walking on the Water – A Sermon Sarcastic and Serious," which she preached at House for All Sinners and Saints on August 4, 2011.
Our hymns are "O worship the King," "As the deer," and "You shall go out with joy." Lyrics are here: https://www.hymnsite.com/lyrics/umh073.sht, https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS853US853&sxsrf=ALiCzsZYyfgpJ-e5HvGOQYYqHS1ckozccg:1661604931136&q=As+the+deer+lyrics+hymn&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi1qLXdiOf5AhWFGTQIHfoRCCAQ1QJ6BAgtEAE&biw=1412&bih=587&dpr=2, and here: https://www.firstpreswh.org/daily-devotional/you-shall-go-out-with-joy-hymn-80/.
