Our hymn is "All hail the power of Jesus's name." Lyrics can be found here: https://hymnary.org/text/all_hail_the_power_of_jesus_name_let. This is a little different tune than what we are used to, so the words do not quite match up with the tune. Make a joyful noise, anyway!
Worship with us! The first podcast message published by the Holmesville Church of the Brethren was a little more than a year ago, on Psalm 23. So, it is fitting that, as we reopen to in-person services, we revisit that Psalm.
Our hymns are "The King of Love my Shepherd is" and "Savior, like a shepherd lead us." Lyrics are here: https://hymnary.org/text/the_king_of_love_my_shepherd_is and here: https://hymnary.org/text/savior_like_a_shepherd_lead_us - skipping verse three.

"Traveling the Emmaus Road" is our message for today. Our hymns are “Sing with all the saints in glory” and “On the journey to Emmaus.” Lyrics to the former are here: https://hymnary.org/text/sing_with_all_the_sons_of_glory. Here are the lyrics to the latter hymn:
1. On the journey to Emmaus with our hearts cold as stone - The one who would save us had left us alone. Then a stranger walks with us and, to our surprise, he opens our stories and he opens our eyes.
2. And our hearts burned within us as we talked on the way, how all that was promised was ours on that day. So we begged him, “Stay with us and grant us your word.” We welcomed the stranger and we welcomed the Lord.
3. And that evening at the table as he blessed and broke bread, we saw it was Jesus aris’n from the dead.
4. On our journey to Emmaus, in our stories and feast,
