Idolatry is real. It can creep into our hearts. It normally starts small, but it becomes larger than we can manage in a blink of an eye. We were made to worship God and God alone. I find it to be such a trust exercise with God, to keep trusting and holding faith in the promise giver more than the promise.

'Do not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.' Exodus 34:14

How do you hear the voice of God?? Faith is a relationship, which means there is two way communication. As believers, it is so important that we know the voice of our Father, and know how to hear Him. This is what we are unpacking today. Also, I wonder how many times I said, "I love my Bible" in this episode lol. This is going to then take us into Spiritual Warfare, which is going to be soooooooo good! Yeah, we're going there. Tithing. It's a topic that to me, seems a little taboo. You don't really ask people if they tithe, you don't ask how much, and you most likely don't have accountability to tithe regularly yourself. Which can leave you questioning, why are you even doing it in the first place?

The LORD has moved in me since becoming a Christian, and one of my first convictions was to tithe. Since starting that, God has blessed me beyond measure. We pray this episode challenges you and strengthens your faith. And specifically, we pray this prompts you to start tithing if you don't already. Watch what God will do.

2 Corinthians 9:7-10: 'Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. As it is written: “They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.” Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. '
