In this episode we explore how the Theotokos unites heaven and earth through her acceptance of Jesus and offering Him to the world, guiding us towards a deeper relationship with Christ and eternal life. We have a reflection from a former Protestant Christian who found clarity in Orthodox Christianity by understanding Mary (Theotokos) as a model for all believers, rather than an exception. This perspective highlights that Christian life is a continuous journey, mirrored by the Church year, which begins with Mary’s birth and culminates in her Dormition, symbolizing our own spiritual journey and preparation for union with Christ. Furthermore, we reflect on the profound relationship between Panagia (Mary) and Christ, characterized by deep love, trust, and compassion, serving as a model for our own relationships.
