"Sometimes, it's better to have a heart of stone—unfeeling, unchanging, and impervious to pain. Why bother with vulnerability when you can just shut the world out?"
But God seems to disagree, offering a transformation that flips this idea upside down. In Ezekiel 36:26, it says: "And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." God wants us to live with tender, open hearts—ones that can love, forgive, and embrace life fully. This new heart and spirit help us feel deeply and connect with Him and others in ways a hardened heart never could.
