HOLY CREATIVITY!

This is it… the final episode of HOLY CREATIVITY! In this episode I’m speaking with Joseph Harrison, a talented creator who, on any given day could be making beats, free styling, live-streaming, or dubbing voice-overs. He says his faith not only inspires his creativity, but also helps him discern which projects to engage with and which to pass along.

——

Thank you for being a part of this journey with me. I’ve learned a lot, I’ve been inspired in new ways, and I’ve been challenged to create new habits just by the conversations I’ve had with these creators. If you enjoyed this series of podcasts and are curious about what I’m working on next, you can find me all over social media at Summit City Studios (links provided below).

My guest in this episode is Keegan Ferrell, a musician, singer, songwriter, and music producer who recently competed on NBC’s The Voice which aired in the spring of 2021.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Keegan and his family for a long time and have enjoyed watching his career take shape. He is a humble young man who says he’s developed a deep sense of gratitude not only for the gifts and talents he’s been given but also for the ways in which he is able to use them to help others succeed. If you’re a fan of Keegan’s or know someone who is, show him some love and share this episode so others can hear his story.

My guest in this episode, Ben Cutting, is a video content creator and digital evangelist for Youth For Christ in Great Britain. He’s responsible for the YouTube channel, Intro Outro which currently has over 2,300 subscribers! Ben loves to create content that introduces young people to Jesus and encourages them to live out their faith. Ben is a football fan (both English and American), a movie lover and quite possibly the most charming Englishman you’ve never met… until now.

In this episode I'm talking with Cat Satre, a wedding photographer from Indianapolis who, though reluctant to shoot her first wedding, has now built a successful business shooting over 30 weddings each year. She says her favorite moments to capture for her couples are those precious ones in between the scheduled events of the day as their real moments of laughter, love, smiles and happy tears shine through.

She describes herself as a follower of Jesus, a wife, a bio mom to two sweet boys, an adopted mom to a spunky girl and a foster mom to two precious little ones. Some of her favorite things are Jet's pizza and Graeter's ice cream (a personal favorite of mine as well!) and the TV show New Girl!

In this episode I'm talking to Matt Plett, a freelance artist and graphic designer out of Fort Wayne, Indiana who may be best known for his eye-catching murals that encourage people to "Think," to "Breathe," and "Don't Give Up." Matt’s faith journey has been riddled with questions and doubts but he says there is no longer any fear for him in living in that tension because it’s the very place where he’s experienced the most growth and the times he feels most connected with God are those times when he’s engaged in his own creative process. Matt is also a personal friend of mine and I’m excited to have him here to share his story with you.

In this inaugural episode of HOLY CREATIVITY! I’m talking with Tiffany Byrd Harrison, a video creator who thrives in the realm of digital storytelling. She’s the co-founder of TrueFam Media who’s mission is to help Christian YouTubers create engaging content by offering video education, accountability, and small group coaching. Before she made her way into video content creation, Tiffany's career began in musical theater, and says even then she had a desire to integrate her faith with her on stage performance.
