Kept this one nice & short for y'all. Seth was unable to make the pod this week, so I decided to keep it brief with what's new on the home screen, what's to come, & break down this past weekend's box office. Hope I didn't overdo it on the info dumps & that y'all enjoy this breezy solo pod from yours truly!
For our longest (& best) episode yet, Seth & Canon deep dive into their hairbrained double feature lineup: Zach Cregger's 'Weapons' & Liam Neeson's 'The Naked Gun'. The team also test out a new format by adding new segments to list what's new in the theaters, as well as on streaming & television. Beyond that, they recommend, reference, & review a host of movies not even they expected to discuss going into the pod. Tune into Holy Flick Pod #6 & join in on the love of everything cinema. Thanks to all who support our podcast & please consider sharing with a friend. Until next time, we'll see you at the movies!!
Seth & I discuss Fantastic Four: First Steps, along with movies we recently watched & recommend. We also break down an interesting weekend at the summer box office before playing some of our favorite games. Listen along & join in on the love of all things cinema! P.S. (!!!!!) After recording this episode, I was finally able to figure out what was going on with my audio. No more buzzing going forward. I also listened to this pod to critique myself more & realized I am not coming prepared enough or giving you all the show you deserve. Everything's getting better & more exciting from here! Thank you all for listening despite my technical difficulties & erratic scheduling.
We go deep into our thoughts & reactions to the kick starter for the new era of DC cinema: James Gunn's 'Superman'. Non-spoiler discussion at the beginning of the episode, followed by Random Recommendations & Blind Rankings, then Superman Box Office Breakdown before concluding with a long-winded spoiler talk for Superman. We hope you all enjoy the new episode! Let us know your thoughts on the film & on the podcast. We will be back with another episode soon to review the new Fantastic Four film & discuss a long list of news heavy topics. Until next time, we'll see you at the movies!
This one was a bit more easy breezy than the last couple. Seth & I recorded this last Saturday (I totally forgot to publish this) so we reviewed the Friday Box Office and talked weekend box office for the new Jurassic Park. We also played a few of our favorite movie games and summarized some recent headlines in Hollywood. Thanks for tuning in & we'll see you at the movies!
We really went all out on this one. Tons of segments. Brief box office breakdown of the last two weekends, reviewing a lot of what's in theaters & giving some great shout outs for what's on streaming, plus blind ranking 7 comedies, giving a big news roundup for the last couple weeks, & finishing off the show with a fun fact! Gotta be one of the best podcasts we've recorded to date, and possibly the greatest movie discussion in the history of man. At the very least, it's decent. Thanks for tuning in & please rate us on your native platforms. Give us all that juicy feedback. All the praise & all the disagreements. Love you all.
On this return episode of Holy Flick, Seth & Canon discuss the John Wick spinoff, Ana De Armas led flick 'Ballerina', Tom Cruise's latest outing in Mission Impossible, & the best laugh-out-loud comedy in recent memory 'Friendship' starring Tim Robinson & Paul Rudd. After giving brief reviews on each, they breakdown the summer movie lineup & rank their top 5 most anticipated movies of the summer box office season. Wrapping up the episode, the report on the latest happenings in Hollywood & the future of the Holy Flick brand. Tune in & feel the love for cinema along the way. Please share & give feedback on what you liked or didn't like. Until next time, we'll see you at the movies!!
