Paul told Timothy that the Scriptures would make him perfect; they would bring him completeness so that he would be thoroughly furnished for every good work. This is the sufficiency of the Word of God. The thing to notice, particularly, is that Paul said all Scripture is inspired of God—this is the fact of divine inspiration.
