Welcome Friends,

Today we are walking through the process of asking the Lord's forgiveness of our sin. With that comes the full process of allowing Holy Spirit to restore our minds and perspective of that sin, and then heal our hearts of any wounds that the sin has caused. Allow yourselves to walk through this full process of forgiveness including letting Jesus give you a new perspective on this sin, His perspective. Letting go of guilt and shame is also part of the process. May God bless you all with his presence in these moments.

In this time we listen to and meditate on Psalm 141. Learning to redirect our focus on the Lord in the midst of difficulty is a skill that is learned; it does not come naturally to us. Asking God for what we need in difficulty and strong emotions (like David did in Psalm 141), is a skill. Come sit with Holy Spirit, with me and meditate on his word.

In these moments we practice waiting on the Lord for WHATEVER he wants to say or do in us. Or, maybe he just wants to sit in silence with you as often only a true friend can. Practice this skill of waiting on Holy Spirit with me as we are asked to do in Isaiah 40:31. I pray God connects with you in all the ways you need today as you come to Him now.

In these moments we keep our focus on Holy Spirit as we ask Him to remind of times we have been accused. We ask Holy Father to heal our wounds from these accusations, help us to forgive, let go of strong feelings that we have associated with the accusations, and then we bless those that have accused us. This process is not an easy one, but Jesus asks us to do it in Luke 6:27-31. You do not have to do this alone as I am walking through this process with you and so is Holy Spirit. Be brave come and join us!
