Our mighty God is a God of miracles. Right here is a family our church has prayed for years for a miracle. Thank you Lord for your miraculous healing of Emily, Kaden and Ellie.

A brother and a sister are diagnosed at very early ages with mitochondrial disorder, affecting every cell in their bodies and leaving both in wheelchairs, with feeding tubes and unable to eat at all for several years. Multiple surgeries, even more infections, in and out of hospitals many time a year. The prognosis: not very good.

Several years into this tragic journey, their mother is diagnosed with a brain tumor and multiple other chronic conditions, spending months of her life as an inpatient. At one point, hospice care was considered for her.

The father remains healthy but incredibly stressed, trying to work and also care for his children and then his wife.

Meet The Mighty Morrisons: Chris and Emily and their children, Kaden and Ellie!

Their source of strength? Their faith in God remained unshakeable and they had support of medical teams, family, church family, and years of prayer and other support from the Holy Trinity Church family as well.

From wheelchairs to walking up the aisle this morning to give testimony, the entire family shared with Holy Trinity the remarkable journey of healing they’ve experienced over that last several years, as holistic approaches to healing have been added to their care along with intensive physical therapy and hard work on their part.
