Attributes of God we can pray for us to know:

• Mighty, strong to save

• Trustworthy

• Our shepherd, we shall not want

• MPs (we were a hub for the National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast on Friday) – particularly praying for local MPs Marsha de Cordova and Florence Eshalomi.

This morning Steph used Proverbs 17 to help us think about modelling Christ-like love in areas of conflict or tension.

This morning, Emma spoke from Proverbs 16: 9,18,33. She spoke on how God's purposes are always greater than our plans.

Jo then led the time of prayer, praying:

• For our outreach, in particular the Foodbank in response to the changes in the restrictions

• For our children's and youth ministry as they return to church

• For Revitalise 250 and that God's plans come to fruition

• For our church leadership. That they hear the spirit speaking clearly

This morning, Hope spoke from Proverbs 16:2-5.

Matt then led the time of prayer, praying:

• That God would help us put him at the centre of our lives and all of our decisions

• That we will always be humble and that we always need Him

• Thanks to God, that He is a God of wisdom and that He will guide our paths

• For the Covid crisis in Brazil. That the government will increase their efforts to limit the virus spread, and that other nation will step in and assist with the supply and vaccine rollout

• For peace for those who have lost loved ones to Covid

This morning, James spoke from Proverbs 15:31-33. He spoke about how being wise is to heed correction, to learn from our mistakes and to gain in understanding. To heed correction is also to receive life, to grow in our relationship with God as we admit our need for Him.

Tim then led the time of prayer, praying:

• For Clapham Sundae. That we will invite people to come and hear the good news of Jesus and respond

• For the new service structure. That God moves in power through these services

This morning, Jago spoke from Proverbs 15: 13-17. As we start a week looking at Wise Choices in Proverbs, Jago spoke on the wise choice of looking to choose happiness and cheerfulness in our hearts.

Rosie then led the time of prayer, praying:

• Thanks to God for His incredible creation, and his goodness around us

• For those who are remembering Shenali's life

This morning, Tim spoke from Proverbs 14:15-18.

Tim also led the time of prayer, praying:

• For Ros who is leaving HTC to go to St Marks, Coventry. Praying that GOd blesses her as she moves and go on in ministry; continuing to bear fruit in her life

• For St Marks, Coventry. That God's blessing is upon them

• For church plants across the country that have been going on for a while, and those that are just starting and being prayed into

This morning, Reema spoke from Proverbs 13:13-18. Speaking on how the way of folly versus the way of wisdom means the way of pride verses the way of humility. The state our hearts are in flows into all areas of our lives – words, actions, responses, motives.

Rory then led the time of prayer, praying:

• That we as the church would have wise and humble words, actions, response and motives

• For our three kids groups running today

This morning, Amanda spoke from Proverbs 13: 1, 13-18.

James then led the time of prayer, praying:

• For FAST, one of our mission partners on the Patmore Estate in Battersea. We prayed for their vision that they would be able to engage 50 new young people and work in more depth with 40 young people through one to one and small group sessions

• We then prayed that we would be open to the Lord rebuking us directly or through our brothers and sisters in Christ. And that we would learn how to give rebuke and correction to each other gently, but also firmly with the goal of encouraging us towards Christ

This morning, Josh spoke from Proverbs 11:18, 23-31. He spoke about generosity, being generous with our time, encouragements, possessions and gifts.

Hope then led the time of prayer, praying:

• That we would value the right things, and seek good

• That we would sow generosity

• That we would be sacrificial with time, money and gifting
