This morning Tim Jones spoke from Acts 27:12-20.

Josh then led the time of prayer, praying that:

• We will know God in the normal day to day

• For individuals known to us that are going through tough times

• Prayer for the storms our world has been facing this past year

This morning James Farley spoke from Acts Acts 27:4-11, on God's hand at work in the tough times.

Amanda then led the time of prayer, praying for:

• Us, looking back and looking forward, remembering God's faithfulness to us!

• The lonely, for friends and family, and for the ways the church has grown through food bank and Alpha

This morning Josh spoke from Acts 26:32-27:3. Speaking about learning to build trust in God. In his big plan for our lives and in the small day to day. To learn to know strength in weakness though Jesus in us.

Tim then led the time of prayer, praying for:

• Our trust in God to increase in our current situation

• Our nation: for protection and wisdom over the rolling out of the vaccine.

• HTC as a church. That those whom we invite will be able to come to a service and that God would speak to them and that they would know him

This morning Emma Kneibe spoke through Acts 26:25-31.

Jo Watling then led the time of prayer, praying to:

· Be fearless in telling our testimonies even if people ridicule us

· Be bold in our faith and to aim big like Paul

· Find opportunities to evangelise and share the good news with unlikely others

This morning Amanda spoke through Acts 26:20-24 on The Message Of Light.

Jago then led the time of prayer, praying:

• Into the fact that God is Light, that the gospel is the message of light, and that we are to be holy and humble light bearers

• Praying this for our church, the Christmas services including Carols on the Common, and for those we know who are most in darkness at the moment

• Prayers of thanks that the lockdown is over, and praying for protection for our country, and wisdom for the leaders of this country

This morning Lydia spoke from Acts 26:15-19 on how personal testimony is one of the most convincing ways to spread the gospel.

Rory then led the time of prayer, praying for:

• People in our lives we wish to come to know Jesus this Christmas through invitation

• Love Christmas Initiative - for the boxes to be a blessing to those who receive these boxes. And for those administrating the giving out of the boxes.

This morning Jago spoke from Acts 26:9-14.

Jamie then led the time of prayer, praying for:

• An awareness of any obsessions we might have, and replace them with Jesus as our obsession.

• On this first HTC Daily of Advent, there was a prayer of 'Maranatha' or 'Come, Lord Jesus' for ourselves, people we know, the church and the world

• With the Archbishops' Month of Prayer, there was a time to pray for schools and colleges, children and young people

This morning Alan Searle spoke from Acts 26:1-8 on the 'The Hope We Have: Prepped & Ready'

Ros then led the time of prayer, praying for:

• Those who do not have Christmas bubbles and won't be able to see close family

• For those who are working or are shielding

• For those who don't feel safe in their own home

• Ros then used the Church Of England's prayer points to pray for local and national government

This morning Lydia spoke from Acts 25:22-27.

Josh then led the time of prayer, encouraging to pray that we will:

• Be unwavering and committed, staying steadfast.

• Be deliberate about sharing the hope we have, personally, as a church, this Christmas and as we come out of COVID.

This morning Charlie Holt spoke from Acts 25:13-21.

Jo then led the time of prayer. Praying for the response of others to the claim that Jesus is alive:

• Christmas services coming up at HTC

• For our friends and family to investigate these matters for themselves

• For those that have done Alpha this year

For our response to this claim

• For areas in our life or mindsets we have where we need to re-claim this truth

• For the Holy Spirit to awaken us to celebrate this truth afresh
