Holy Week is upon us. It commences with a procession outside, with waving palm branches in hand. We mimic the crowds that trumpeted Jesus Christ entrance into the city of Jerusalem. However, these same voices that heralded him would quickly take a sinister turn within a matter of days. "Hossana!" will be replaced with "CRUCIFY HIM! CRUCIFY HIM!" The Palm Sunday vestments worn by the priest will change from Lenten purple to brutal blood red.
