The history of April Fools’ Day is a mystery. Some think it has to do with a calendar change in the 16th century when our modern calendar first came into use. Some people never made the switch and celebrated the New Year in April. They missed the message or refused to accept the news. Some people today refuse to accept the news of Jesus’ physical resurrection. Paul points out that if believers miss the resurrection, they’ve been fooled more than anyone.
