Have you ever had somebody "put the heart back in you?" It is one of the most important gifts we give to those around us. The Church is a people called to be actively transformed by their encouragement of one another... and encouraged by Her Lord.

Sometimes the hardest thing of all to do is simply stand firm in the midst of pressure. Why does Jesus call us to do so? How does Jesus empower us to do so?

A lot of controversy has filled the airwaves about people standing or kneeling during the playing of the American National Anthem. What we give our allegiance to is part of what defines us... and how we define ourselves. Our allegiance to Christ, especially in the midst of tribulation, will transform us in ways we cannot imagine.

What do you trust... with all of your heart, mind, and strength? What we trust will be what we use to choose our actions. What we trust will transform us...

In Jesus Christ we are not just saved FROM our sins, but we are saved FOR a different--a better--kind of life for both ourselves and those around us. But what is that transformation meant to look like, and how does God affect it in our lives? In this sermon series, we will explore this together.
