A 200 IQ eight year old boy named, Kevin McCallister is mistakenly left home alone after his family goes on a vacation to France. At first he enjoys his situation because his family is always putting him down, but after a while, he really starts to miss his family. Realizing what’s at stake, he decides to not give into fear, become the man of the house, and defends himself from 2 serial burglars in the area while inspiring his neighbor to reconcile with his son.
