  • Patti Garibay of American Heritage Girls
When a national organization with a great influence over our next generation takes a turn to the left and becomes favorable to lesbian behavior and destruction of innocent human life, it may be time to find another path. The Girl Scouts USA sent out a fact page for all the councils to post on their websites denying they promote abortion, promiscuity, the gay-lesbian agenda. Yet, if you look at the line up of their speakers at their conventions and their board members, you would see a different picture. In this show, we talk with the founder of a great alternative, Patti Garibay.  You will get to hear what the American Heritage Girls are doing and why it is important for our country to have other options.

  • Colonel Quincy Collins and the Declaration of Independence
What comes to your mind when you think about the 4th of July? For most of us it’s fireworks, parades, a day off work and backyard barbecues. But Freedom is not free. The origins of our country began with war. It was inspired by the greater good of obtaining our freedom from Great Britan. The Fourth of July has been celebrated by public readings of the Declaration of Independence from the courthouse steps ever since. But not everyone does this still today, so in case nobody’s reading it at your court house, I will read the Declaration of Independence to you or you can play this at your own courthouse. In this special Independence Day edition of Home Front, we start by talking with a Vietnam Veteran and then stay with us for the Declaration. Colonel Quincy Collins was Born on the 4th of July in 1931, He graduated from the Citidel and became a flight commander with the Air Force as a Second Lieutanant. He was shot down over Vietnam which left him as a prisoner of war for the next 7 1/2 years and provides us with a perspective on freedom and war from one who was on the inside.

  • Shaunti Feldhahn – Author of “The Good News About Marriage”
Recently I was invited to join Phyllis Schlafly on her radio show, Eagle Forum Live.  We had a lot of fun interviewing Shaunti Feldhahn as we discussed her newest book called, The Good News About Marriage. We’ve all heard divorce statists that just aren’t true. Our guest, Shaunti Feldhahn, comes to inform us of the positive news that the divorce rate is not anywhere near the 50% that is frequently reported.  According to our own census numbers more like 72% are still married to their original spouse.  Many of those who are no longer married had a happy marriage for decades and their spouse is now passed away. Todays episode will inspire, encourage and contains some of the highlights of that interview we did on Eagle Forum Live.
