Pornography is not controversial in the traditional sense. Nevertheless, it has been normalised to such an extent that the thought of it being wrong or sinful or damaging in this day and age is almost bordering on heresy. This is the last week of our series, join us to unpack a horrible blight that is eroding the landscape of our world.

In Genesis 1:27 it says: "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them."

In Acts 2: 17 - 18 it says: "In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy."

So, what is our first Controversial Conversation? Genesis 2:23 The man said, ‘This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called “woman”, for she was taken out of man.’ Let's talk about the sexual revolution.

Christians WILL find themselves in controversial situations. With rugby on our mind this is an approprite thought: as we all know, you can’t run onto a rugby field without being confronted. Christianity is similar. The nature of our faith and life is that we will encounter “push back”. Join us to see why this is a good thing and how Jesus handles these moments.

A call to action... A Call to Generosity!

It is possible to help and hurt at the same time. How can we make sure that we don't hurt when trying to be generous.

Generosity is about re-thinking how we look at people and choosing to see them as God sees them!
