We mull over the origins of Fredrik's musical career on the trusty old Commodore 64, his first ever song, Cashmere goats, the enormous popularity of Datarock in Australia, the fabulous radio station JJJ,
Frank Zappa, Devo and Talking Heads, his penchant for Yacht Rock, DJ s getting BJs, the direction of the music industry, appearing on commercials, his record label and some of the acts signed to it (check out Denga Denga!), as well as the similarities between Norwegians and Australians, just to name a few subjects. Possibly our speech starts to slur towards the end but I think we managed to edit those bits out. Fredrik is a great sport, highlighted by the fact that he has allowed us to use complete Datarock songs in this unique and highly enjoyable podcast!
