While you may become frustrated and disillusioned by the “falseness” of those who claim to believe in Jesus, take a moment to evaluate your own heart. Are you concerned for the way others including yourself are presenting Jesus or jealous that your peers are enjoying the worldly life while still claiming to be spiritual. The one word that makes the difference between “real” and “fake” spirituality is Holiness. Are you pursuing Holiness? Jesus lived a perfect life in a sinless world in order for all who believe in Him to be forgiven of their sin and have His power to navigate through this life until we reach our eternal one. Since His ascension into Heaven, we have His Word as recorded in the Bible and The Holy Spirit to intercede on our behalf to God. Today’s Christian and church does not suffer from a lack of power or information, but the will to do what Jesus commands.
