Homelessness in California’s Bay Area is so high that local landlords and homeowners are being asked to take in homeless residents. Some non-profits such as Safe Time Home Sharing, Inc. are asking property owners to take in the homeless out of the goodness of their heart while others will pay you a stipend to do so. Massachusetts has roughly over 18k homeless residents. Is this a model MA should follow to combat homelessness? Christi Carpenter, Executive Director of Safe Time joins Dan to discuss.
