Dayton, VA is a small town in rural Virginia with a population of 1,530 people with 1,000 of the population being Mennonite. Dayton is known for its farming and is a town that most people pass by as they head to a city nearby. Dayton is just a 20-minute drive from my hometown and would drive through to visit friends. Valerie Hayes, Gary Blake Reburn, and Frank and Jennifer Amnott would forever leave their mark on Dayton when they visited in 2018. Two Mennonite families were scooped out and almost victims of a kidnapping scheme. This episode discusses the kidnapping of children and assault.
