Adam McManus and I documented the dangers of embracing homosexual behavior. On average, a homosexual man or lesbian's lifespan is dramatically shortened by 20-30 years.

Plus, Biblically speaking, there are clear warnings against rejecting God's divine design.

• Leviticus 18:22 says, "Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable."
• Romans 1:24, 26-27 says, "Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error."
• And 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 asks, "Do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."

Genesis 2:24 reveals that God made man for the woman and the woman for the man in marriage. It says, "That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh."

Hebrews 13:4 underscores the importance of faithfulness within heterosexual marriage. It says, " Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral."

We also cited a persuasive column from Dr. Michael Brown, a Christian talk show host. It's entitled "Let us not forget the "LGB" when pushing back against the "T."
