Judge, October 2022 to present.

• Currently presides over jury trials and preliminary hearings at East County Hall of Justice.
• Presided over misdemeanor arraignment, pretrial calendar and traffic court at Wiley Manuel Courthouse.

 

Alameda County District Attorney’s Office.                                                                                                                                                            Deputy District Attorney, Since January 2010.

• Handled felony and misdemeanor arraignments, misdemeanor pretrials and misdemeanor progress reports.
• Handled felony jury trials and preliminary hearings involving murder, attempted murder, vehicular manslaughter, domestic violence, sexual assault, robbery, arson, child abuse, child porn, grand theft and dissuading witnesses. 
• Exercised discretion to negotiate just resolutions which included non-traditional rehabilitation.
• Handled and tried misdemeanor and felony cases involving juveniles.
