Comics and STEM Creating Pathways for the Future
With increased reliance on technology in the 21st Century, it's more and more important to ensure that students have at least the foundations of understanding of STEM concepts as they progress through the grades. Creating a love for these topics can encourage kids to seek careers in connected fields. Artists, educators, and representatives from the Society of Women Engineers talk about using comics and graphic novels to create a passion for STEM in the classroom and beyond.
You can see me at the IEA RA in Rosemont, IL from April 18th-21st. You can also find me at Denver Comic Con (Twitter: @DenverComicCon )this summer. Come chek out the live road show!
