This week, I am joined by a friend of the show, Billboard Benny, as he gears up to release his latest body of work, "This Life is a Novela" which drops next Friday, January 26th. In his new project, Benny highlights some of his experiences with past relationships, and is vulnerable about ways his been hurt in the past. 

While his delivery is raw and vulnerable, and he is story telling through his lyrics, Benny hopes that women can listen to gain understanding on how some of their behaviors may hurt men. 

As a woman, I know sometimes it is hard to hear the truth about ourselves, and we like things to be sugar coated so they land a softer blow, but I think once we move away from the defense, we can better receive Benny’s message.
