Alex is an oncology dietitian and owner of Feel Better Nutrition, a Melbourne based dietetic practice specialising in nutrition for breast cancer. She graduated from a Masters of Dietetics at Deakin in 2014 and went on to work at St Vincent’s Private in Melbourne for 8+ years before taking the leap into private practice. She currently works at UQ Healthy Living - an over 50's clinic in Toowong, Brisbane. Helen was diagnosed with breast cancer at the start of Australia's lockdown in 2020. She continued powerlifting during and beyond active treatment. Helen is frustrated that many cancer survivors are not told about the benefits of exercise during and beyond active treatment. Helen has an instagram page  to promote cancer exercise medicine and help fellow cancer survivors manage fatigue, pain and lymphoedema.
