Jesus uses this parable to exhort us until repentance. We can see God's providence, His Grace, and our need to bear fruit, in Luke 13:6-9.

From Luke 12: 13-34 Jesus uses the builder of barns parable in teaching us how to treasure in Him.

Jesus teaches us how to view prayer. We find ourselves utterly in need and God able and willing to bless, giving even of Himself. From Luke 5:5-13.

Jesus points the faithful to life characterized by mercy. Ultimately, Jesus gave the pattern of greatest mercy.

Passover points to Jesus!!!

Israel has been commanded to meet. Pharaoh prevents them. The Lord responds with relationship in covenant. God demonstrates He is both Lord and Savior.
