Fashion is fun. It's a way to express yourself, and with the multitude of clothing options out there now, you can truly feel unique without ever picking up a sewing needle.
However, the rise of fast fashion and trend of overconsumption are having major negative impacts on laborers, the environment, and the mental and financial well-being of the consumer. In this episode, we dive into these effects and how big corporations with economic power take advantage of the situation to make money. We also discuss our relationship with fashion and clothes, how that has changed over time, and what we're doing now to be more conscious consumers.
