Listen Later

Hey there surfers and beachgoers! Are you ready for some wave action in Hawaii? Let's dive into the surf zone forecast for the islands.

So, we've got several pulses of Northwest swell heading our way this week. This means we can expect surf near or above High Surf Advisory levels on exposed North and West facing shores. Get ready for some exciting times out on the water!

Today, we're looking at some solid surf sizes. North facing shores will be in the 8-12 feet range in the morning and building up to 12-16 feet by the afternoon. West facing shores will see waves in the 6-8 feet range in the morning, picking up to 8-12 feet later on. South facing shores will have some fun waves too, around 5-7 feet. And for the East facing shores, expect 2-4 feet of surf.

The weather is looking fantastic with mostly sunny skies. High temperatures in the lower 80s, so don't forget your sunscreen! Winds will be fairly light, around 5 miles per hour mainly coming from the Southwest.

As for tides, keep an eye on Hanalei Bay and Nawiliwili for some fun surf times ahead.

And hey, make sure to check out the UV Index - it's going to be high today, so protect yourselves from those rays!

Alright, folks, that's the scoop for today. Stay safe, have a blast out there, and catch those waves! This has been a Quiet Please Studios audio creation with the help of AI. Please subscribe and never miss a Swell! Thank you for listening.
