Sarah Carson is the Founder and CEO of Leota. Leota is sold in the top stores globally and was named on the Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America 2 years

in a row, and in the top 50 run by women. Carson was honored with the Design Entrepreneurs NYC distinction in 2012, and was selected as one of the top emerging womenswear designers in New York by Mayor Bloomberg’s Economic Development Corporation Fashion.NYC.2020 and the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Prior to Leota, Carson was an investment banker at UBS focusing on corporate finance in the utilities sector and later matching hedge funds with corporate managements. She is an avid philanthropist and serves on the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Letters and the LGBT Community Center in New York. Carson is a member of the Brooklyn chapter of Entrepreneur’s Organization. She mentors up and coming

entrepreneurs through the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator, Design Entrepreneurs NYC, the Brown Women's Launch Pad program, and as a guest lecturer at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

She holds a Black Belt in Kung Fu, is the 2- time National Full Contact Kuoshu Fighting champion, and was a member of the 1996 USA Team that competed in the World Tournament in Taiwan.

Carson graduated from Brown University with a degree in Gender Studies.

Mama Bear Donita shares her love for Yin Yoga and how she used Yin Yoga to overcome the challenges chemo and radiation brought to her life, mentally and physically, and how Yin Yoga eliminated Anxiety in her life. Donita is the creator of Mama Bear Cancer coach and is a cancer survivor.

Supporting others affected by cancer, Donita says" I want to use my experience to ease the experience for others".

Mary began her career in Dallas with the Saks Fifth Avenue Store Line Management Program. She was quickly promoted to management jobs, running Men’s and Women’s departments —carrying the most prestigious brands. After five years, Mary moved to New York to join the elite Macy’s Executive Training Program. The two experiences provided a foundation for more than 20 years of upward trajectory in retail management for Mary. She ran businesses in Designer Apparel, Surf and Skate, Handbags, Jewelry, and Athletic wear, to name a few. Mary was promoted to the GVP of Merchandising for the teen girls’ apparel at Aéropostale, during which time represented approximately $1 billion in sales while the brand was considered one of the top choices among teens.

Since 2010, Mary has channeled her retail expertise by providing timely trend analysis for many of the largest mutual and hedge funds in the U.S., and is a frequent guest on CNBC and Fox Business News. She provides insight on luxury brands, department stores, mall and e-commerce retail, and how emerging trends and current topics will impact retailers.

In addition Mary has served on the board of directors for retailers, as a consultant for distressed brands and as an advisor and mentor to startups across categories.

Mary holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and earned her undergraduate BBA from The University of Iowa.

Steve McGrath was born in Connecticut, raised in Maine and eventually had enough of cold weather that he moved Florida.

He had a 35-year career as an editor in newspapers. He has an avid interest in sports, golf and skiing and thought yoga might help those pursuits. It did.

Steve lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Colette practices TM, is a Silva Method Graduate and a Chopra Primordial Sound Practitioner.

She combines these practices with her training as a yoga teacher.

She has been described as a renaissance yoga practitioner with a healthy, meditative, humorous and creative twist.

Yin Yoga is now Colette’s primary focus after studying with acclaimed teacher and author Bernie Clark.
