After asking who we are before God, another question inevitably follows:

“What was I created for?”

Perhaps we have searched for our purpose in a profession, a position, an achievement, or a great opportunity. But God’s purpose for us is not necessarily found in an extraordinary position.

It may begin much closer to home.

In our gifts. In our experiences. In the things that matter to us. In the people we can help. In the abilities we have been given but may not yet recognize as part of our story.

Because having a talent answers one question: “What can I do?”

Purpose asks another: “What am I meant to do with it?”

And perhaps discovering our purpose does not mean receiving a complete map for our lives. It means learning to walk with God, recognizing the next step, and using what He has already placed in our hands to serve others and do good.

Perhaps the purpose you are looking for in your future has already begun to reveal itself in your present.

There are so many voices telling us who we are.

Our parents. Our families. A partner. A boss. Society. Our successes. Our failures. Even our own mistakes.

But what happens when we stop asking the world who we are and begin asking God?

This episode takes us to the heart of a fundamental truth: our identity does not begin with what we do, but with our relationship with the Father.

Before we are defined by our accomplishments, we are called into a relationship. Before we can discover our purpose, we need to understand our identity. And before we ask ourselves, “What am I supposed to do?”, perhaps we need to ask:

“Who am I to my Father?”

Because your purpose does not determine your worth.

Your identity before God is the foundation from which you can begin to discover your purpose.

Talking about a spiritual inheritance may sound inspiring. But one question inevitably comes to mind:

“But is that really for me?”

Perhaps you think God has a purpose for extraordinary people—for those with remarkable talents, an admirable story, or a faith that seems unshakable.

But what if God’s inheritance does not begin with what you have accomplished, but with who you are in Him?

This episode explores the possibility that God has placed far more within your life than you may yet recognize: an identity, gifts, experiences, a calling, and a purpose that do not depend on living a perfect life or having a flawless past.

Because perhaps you are not called to invent who you are or create a purpose for yourself.

Perhaps you are called to discover what God has already begun to form within you.

And then an even deeper question emerges:

“Who am I before God that He would call me His child—and therefore, His heir?”

We often say that we should honor our parents, our family name, our family, or what we have received from those who came before us. But what does it really mean to honor?

And if God speaks to us about an inheritance, an even deeper question emerges: What does it mean to honor what God has placed within us?

Perhaps we have been too focused on asking what we want to receive from God, when the question should begin somewhere else: Who is the Father who desires to share it with us?

An inheritance always tells us something about the one who gives it. So before we try to understand what we have received, we need to begin by getting to know the One who prepared it.

Perhaps honoring the inheritance does not begin with receiving more from God, but with knowing Him more deeply.

Perhaps you believe you know God. Perhaps you know a great deal about Him. Or maybe you stopped asking questions about God a long time ago because something happened in your life that left you feeling distant from Him.

But what if there is still so much more to discover?

Honor My Inheritance in You was born from a question that can change the way we understand our relationship with God: How can I honor the inheritance God has placed within me?

This first episode is not about giving you quick answers. It is an invitation to begin a journey: to get to know the Father, discover who we are in His presence, and understand what He has placed within us.

Because before we can discover our inheritance, we need to know the One from whom it comes.

If God truly prepared something for your life, how well do you know the One who prepared it?
