Despite increased awareness, depression in Black Men goes mostly untreated while having the highest all-cause mortality rates of any racial/ethnic group in the United States.
Black people have depressive episodes that are more disabling, persistent, and resistant to treatment than people of other races.
Women are more likely to be diagnosed with depression, while men are four times more likely to commit suicide than women. Traditional masculine norms contribute to persistent mental health problems because guys are encouraged to tough it out for as long as possible.
Black men who are depressed are not likely to seek treatment for it.

Unconscious of the emotions you experience because you are fixated on a particular goal
The culture is possessed by a demon or god | because it is attached to the soul but hidden from our consciousness
You may not be aware of your unresolved trauma and anger because it's viewed as a part of you
I am angry, sad, depressed | when these are mental states that you hold on to that can be released
Anger is not about the person you are mad at. It is about the anger that resided in your being unconscious that people can conjure
this is how you know the shadow still needs to be worked on
if you don't work on your shadow, you will avoid the shadow but still be spiritual
spirituality has a way of making everybody right, and if you don't check yourself within the spiritual paradigm, you will experience a downfall
spiritual bypassing | claiming spiritual but can't love a man at a spiritual level | everything is spiritual except your relationship
because you are in real life sidestepping unresolved emotional issues, anger, trauma, wounds, and quit developing
Ase, Spirit, ancestors, trauma, light, darkness, energy, astrology, but most of the time, they are avoiding some real shit
that's why spiritual people are the most traumatic, so you better off dealing with a bank robber or a drug dealer to save you a headache
