Originally known as Alexandria Army Air Base. Their story was never complete as my father was made to go away or be brought up on charges of statutory rape by my maternal grandmother. I didn't meet my biological father until I was 23 years-old and a single parent. My parents are now 62 and 69 and I felt that we all needed to have a conversation about what took place in order to have closure.
