Officer Jack Weese with the Johnson County Sheriff Dept. located in Gardner, Kansas tells us how he and his partner "Gus" started their career together. "There's a new deputy town" so be looking for him. Gus has a unique job, he is a Community Companion K9. He serves his fellow officers and their families along with public community. 

Gus brings positive morale, comfort and a calming peace to others during difficult times. 
Jack and Gus are assigned to the Public Affairs and the Community Outreach Division. Gus was trained through K9's for Freedom & Independence owned and operated by Janeen Baggette, based out of Texas.
